On a routine patrol near Gudur forest fringe, the team noticed smoke emanating from a concealed location. Discovered earthen pots containing fermented mash and a copper still apparatus. Seized 358 litres of arrack-type ID liquor along with brewing materials. 4 persons fled the scene; one apprehended.

While checking inter-state movement at NH16 Tada border, vehicle bearing registration AP22 BG 6547 was intercepted. The driver could not produce valid permits. On search, 43 litres of non-duty-paid liquor in 31 cartons recovered. Vehicle and consignment seized. Driver and conductor taken into custody.
