Seized 341 litres of unfermented wash, 60 kg of jaggery and approximately 178 kg of molasses kept for fermentation. The chimney structure had been concealed under coconut fronds. 1 persons taken into custody for further enquiry.

While checking inter-state movement at NH44 Kurnool border, vehicle bearing registration AP23 UA 5781 was intercepted. The driver could not produce valid permits. On search, 242 litres of non-duty-paid liquor in 44 cartons recovered. Vehicle and consignment seized. Driver and conductor taken into custody.
