Acting on credible information, raid was conducted at Vinukonda village in Vizianagaram district. Discovered an illicit distillation unit operating in a thatched shed behind the residence. Seized 146 litres of unfermented wash, 44 kg of jaggery and approximately 54 kg of molasses kept for fermentation. The chimney structure had been concealed under coconut fronds. 2 persons taken into custody for further enquiry.
