Acting on credible information, raid was conducted at Sullurupeta village in YSR district. Discovered an illicit distillation unit operating in a thatched shed behind the residence. Seized 250 litres of unfermented wash, 57 kg of jaggery and approximately 173 kg of molasses kept for fermentation. The chimney structure had been concealed under coconut fronds. 2 persons taken into custody for further enquiry.
