On a routine patrol near Puttur forest fringe, the team noticed smoke emanating from a concealed location. Discovered earthen pots containing fermented mash and a copper still apparatus. Seized 378 litres of arrack-type ID liquor along with brewing materials. 5 persons fled the scene; one apprehended.

Inspection conducted at retail outlet ES Krishna 08 Wines in Krishna based on routine compliance schedule. Found 410 litres of duty-paid liquor in excess of permitted stock with discrepancies in maintenance of stock register. Show-cause notice issued; case registered under permit violation provisions.

Conducted enforcement raid at Pothepalli based on prior intelligence. The premises had been raided once earlier in 2022. Discovered fresh evidence of distillation. Seized 310 litres of ID liquor, three plastic drums and one fermentation vessel. Habitual offender — case registered for repeat violation.
