On search, 312 litres of non-duty-paid liquor in 36 cartons recovered. Vehicle and consignment seized. Driver and conductor taken into custody.

On a routine patrol near Banaganapalle forest fringe, the team noticed smoke emanating from a concealed location. Discovered earthen pots containing fermented mash and a copper still apparatus. Seized 255 litres of arrack-type ID liquor along with brewing materials. 4 persons fled the scene; one apprehended.
