Acting on credible information, raid was conducted at Adoni village in Bapatla district. Discovered an illicit distillation unit operating in a thatched shed behind the residence. Seized 407 litres of unfermented wash, 37 kg of jaggery and approximately 234 kg of molasses kept for fermentation. The chimney structure had been concealed under coconut fronds. 2 persons taken into custody for further enquiry.

Seized 260 litres of ID liquor, three plastic drums and one fermentation vessel. Habitual offender — case registered for repeat violation.
