While checking inter-state movement at Bhadrachalam ferry, vehicle bearing registration TS10 WN 5805 was intercepted. The driver could not produce valid permits. On search, 50 litres of non-duty-paid liquor in 32 cartons recovered. Vehicle and consignment seized. Driver and conductor taken into custody.

While checking inter-state movement at Kothagudem road, vehicle bearing registration AP05 JM 2560 was intercepted. The driver could not produce valid permits. On search, 223 litres of non-duty-paid liquor in 37 cartons recovered. Vehicle and consignment seized. Driver and conductor taken into custody.

Acting on credible information, raid was conducted at Palamaner village in Chittoor district. Discovered an illicit distillation unit operating in a thatched shed behind the residence. Seized 42 litres of unfermented wash, 73 kg of jaggery and approximately 238 kg of molasses kept for fermentation. The chimney structure had been concealed under coconut fronds. 3 persons taken into custody for further enquiry.

Conducted enforcement raid at Chimakurthy based on prior intelligence. The premises had been raided once earlier in 2022. Discovered fresh evidence of distillation. Seized 103 litres of ID liquor, three plastic drums and one fermentation vessel. Habitual offender — case registered for repeat violation.

Inspection conducted at retail outlet ES Chittoor 02 Wines in Chittoor based on routine compliance schedule. Found 279 litres of duty-paid liquor in excess of permitted stock with discrepancies in maintenance of stock register. Show-cause notice issued; case registered under permit violation provisions.
