Seized 354 litres of unfermented wash, 28 kg of jaggery and approximately 186 kg of molasses kept for fermentation. The chimney structure had been concealed under coconut fronds. 4 persons taken into custody for further enquiry.

While checking inter-state movement at NH16 Tada border, vehicle bearing registration AP-31-X-1234 was intercepted. The driver could not produce valid permits. On search, 55 litres of non-duty-paid liquor in 22 cartons recovered. Vehicle and consignment seized. Driver and conductor taken into custody.
