While checking inter-state movement at Bhadrachalam ferry, vehicle bearing registration AP01 EC 8026 was intercepted. The driver could not produce valid permits. On search, 412 litres of non-duty-paid liquor in 54 cartons recovered. Vehicle and consignment seized. Driver and conductor taken into custody.

The chimney structure had been concealed under coconut fronds. 1 persons taken into custody for further enquiry.
