On search, 321 litres of non-duty-paid liquor in 22 cartons recovered. Vehicle and consignment seized. Driver and conductor taken into custody.

Acting on credible information, raid was conducted at Gudur village in Konaseema district. Discovered an illicit distillation unit operating in a thatched shed behind the residence. Seized 296 litres of unfermented wash, 53 kg of jaggery and approximately 192 kg of molasses kept for fermentation. The chimney structure had been concealed under coconut fronds. 4 persons taken into custody for further enquiry.
